March, 2012 - Big news! I've started a new job at Trinity College School in Port Hope. Since the end of February, I have been serving as the primary web developer within the Communications Department of the School.
Admittedly, leaving NMA was a very tough decision. I had been working with an exceptional team of people for the past several years and felt that I had built a great rapport with everyone. I am still finding and appreciating the many valuable things I have learned while working there that I would never have come across in any other position, at any other company.
Ultimately I realised that commuting to Port Hope from my home base in Durham Region would be significantly easier for me. And after meeting some of the wonderful members of community – including the developer who I would be replacing, it quickly became clear that this position would be an excellent fit for me. After several weeks of functioning within this role I can say – without a doubt - that this was absolutely the right choice for me.
And in other news, I am working away at a couple of side projects, and continuing to post updates to my blog. So please feel free to take a look at the ever-increasing collection of design and development related resources. Given the time to pursue some of my new-found interests in experimental photography (thanks to some funky little cameras that I got for my birthday,) I plan to add a new section for this as well.
